Weightman Digital · Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire

Websites, video and marketing, from one person who answers the phone.

I’m Neil Weightman. Since 2012 I have built websites, filmed video and run campaigns for small businesses across Aberdeenshire and the North East. Before that, twenty years in radio.

The straight answer
What it costs

Published, not hidden

Websites start at £800. Everything else is quoted per job, and you get a real figure on the first call rather than a discovery process.

Who you deal with

Me, start to finish

No account manager, no handover to a junior, no agency layer. The person who quotes the job is the person who does it.

What you walk away with

Something that works

A site that gets found, film you actually use, campaigns judged on enquiries. And the files and code are yours.

On location, West London

Twenty minutes from Inverurie, half an hour from Aberdeen, and occasionally a good deal further than that.

What clients say

Running since 2012, in media since 1993

Aberdeen Storage Units, Jim Reid Vehicle Sales, ITC Hydraulics, MRB Plumbing and Heating, Denmore Press, the University of Aberdeen and C&M McDonald in Kintore have all had work through this office. So have Emirates, Mastercard, Colgate and Lipton Tea, on the voice side.

Where I work

Aberdeenshire based, and it matters

Weightman Digital works out of Oldmeldrum, twenty minutes from Inverurie and half an hour from Aberdeen. Ellon, Westhill, Banchory, Stonehaven, Peterhead, Huntly and Turriff are all comfortable runs, which means we can sit across a table rather than swap calendar links.

Most of my clients are small businesses across Aberdeenshire and the North East, in trades, hospitality, retail, professional services and energy. A few are a good deal further away, including the United States, Canada and mainland Europe.

A website that is not pulling its weight, a video you have been meaning to make for two years, marketing that is not producing enquiries, or an afternoon a week of admin you would rather not do. You will get a straight answer either way.

Questions people actually ask

Questions people ask before they get in touch

Who actually does the work?
I do. Weightman Digital is one person, which is the whole point. The person who quotes your job is the person who builds it, films it and answers the phone when you ring.
How much does a website cost?
An AI-Powered Starter Website starts at £800 and suits small businesses, freelancers and straightforward brochure sites. Fully bespoke Premium builds start at £2,400. See website design for the difference between them.
Can you do the website and the video and the marketing?
Yes, and that is usually where the value is. The same shoot can feed a website film and a run of vertical cuts for social, without a second supplier and a second invoice.
Do you only work with Aberdeenshire businesses?
Most clients are in Aberdeenshire and the North East, and being local genuinely helps for filming and for sitting down together. But there are clients in the United States, Canada and mainland Europe too, particularly on voice and video work.
What is the AI service about?
Taking the repetitive admin off your team: quotes, invoice chasing, information stuck in inboxes. Not a chatbot on your website. See AI for business.
How quickly can you start?
It depends what is already booked in, and I will tell you honestly rather than promise a date I cannot keep. Timelines get agreed before any work starts.
What if I am not sure what I need?
That is completely normal and it is most of the first conversation. Describe the problem in plain English and I will tell you which of these would actually fix it, including when the answer is the cheaper option or nothing at all.
What is your background?
Media since 1993, starting in radio: nearly twenty years presenting including Northsound 1, Original 106 and Metro Radio, plus a spell as Programme Director and lecturing in radio broadcasting at Aberdeen College. Weightman Digital has been running since 2012.

Not sure which of these you need?

Describe the problem and I will point you at the right one, even when that turns out to be the cheapest thing on the list.
